What is Music for Little Mozarts?
Music for Little Mozarts is a beginning piano course for children ages 4-7.
Through the use of stories and a little help from our dear friends, Beethoven Bear, Mozart Mouse and their other companions, children learn to play piano on a musical adventure like never before!
With a balance of discipline necessary for playing piano and the thrill of making music, the course is designed specifically for preschool aged children.
The students will play with plush versions of their friends Mozart Mouse, Beethoven Bear and 7 other characters and use their imaginations as they learn to play piano.

Preschoolers exhibit the following characteristics:
- Eagerness to learn new skills

Is my child ready for Music for Little Mozarts?
In short, the answer is yes! Children between the ages of 4-6 are ready for Music for Little Mozarts.
As a general rule of thumb, I ask if the child can say the first 7 letters of the alphabet, and with a little help, say them backwards.

What if I don't own a piano and I'm not sure I want to invest in one quite yet?
This is a great question, and one I receive frequently. Two options exist for you:
1. Pianos can be rented with low monthly payments, and many times, if your child continues with piano, the money you paid in rent can be put towards the purchase of a piano.
2. Your child may be interested in Music for Little Mozarts Music Introduction Classes.
In these 30-45 minute classes students in groups of up to 10 play and learn music together, and parents are invited to join along in the fun, but are not required to stay. This is a great way for children even younger than 4 to test the waters of the music world, and to introduce them to a fun yet challenging learning environment. Children will learn to work with others while developing their own skills in music. Theses group classes specifically focus on preparing students to read music and play piano. They are not movement classes, but instead piano introduction classes. Move on to piano lessons at any time during Introduction Classes and the remaining balance will be applied to your private or group piano lessons.
